How do we apply for JSRS
Certification?
B. Upon
submitting the JSRS Registration form, a confirmation mail will be sent to the
registered
company email ID.
Note: Order
confirmation is a ‘must’ to proceed further, so please confirm acceptance of
the mail
received from businessgateways.
C. On
receipt of order confirmation, the Login credentials to JSRS shall be sent to
your registered
company email ID.
F. JSRS
Certification process involves:
- Enterprise Admin
- MCP (Master company Profile)
- Supplier Profile
- SCF (Supplier Certification Form)
JSRS Certification Fee Structure
Oman:
1. Companies registering from Oman are subject to following fee structure, as per the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority(SMEDA). SME-Micro: OMR 50, SME-Small: OMR 100, SME-Medium: OMR 100, Large Companies: OMR 900.
2. The JSRS Certification Fees shown above are for a subscription period of Three Years.
3. Please note that your Company Classification is based on your Total Employee count & your Annual Sales Turnover.
4. Choose the right Classification during the Registration or your Certification process will be delayed due to the Classification change process during diligence check.
Note:

JSRS Subscription Fee mentioned is excluding VAT of 5%. VAT charges are applicable
only to Omani companies.

JSRS Subscription Fee is exclusive of any payment processing charges
that may be applicable.

International:
Option 1: USD 1,000 for One Year.
Option 2: USD 2,250 for Three Years.

What are
the modes of payment available?
There are two modes of payment available on the JSRS Application:
- Online Payment
- Offline Payment
Online Payment:
The JSRS Certification fee
can be paid online through the Payment Gateway of Bank Muscat hosted on the
JSRS. You can also pay using Credit/Debit cards. It is important that your Credit/Debit Cards are
'3D Secure' approved before it can be used on our system.
Offline Payment:
The offline payment
can be done via:
- Cheque or Cash Deposit
- Bank Transfer
The JSRS Subscription Fee for
International Company is relatively higher than the Fee for Omani Companies. Do
you offer special rates/Subsidized rates for Micro or Small overseas companies
The JSRS Subscription fee for Suppliers is set by the Ministry of Energy and
Minerals, Oman and is based on the supplier origin (National or
International).
Further, in Oman, it is based on
Company Classification (SME & Large) standards set by the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority(SMEDA).

What
are the Pricing Policies for Suppliers?
The Certification fee for suppliers is set by the Ministry of Energy and
Minerals, Oman and the actual value is based on the supplier origin (National
or International).
For Omani companies, the employee count, and annual sales
(revenue) are the deciding factors for the JSRS certification fee, and the
company classification is as per Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority(SMEDA) classification standards. Information regarding

Do we need to pay
separately for NBF and JSRS Platforms?
No. A single payment is enough to gain
access to the NBF and JSRS Platforms.
What is Tier 1 on JSRS?
A. The Tier 1 of JSRS is an e-Marketplace (B2B) Platform initiative known as Oman National Business Framework.
B. Suppliers are expected to ready their company profile here and are encouraged to use the critical B2B Tools that are available on this tier.
C. All Products and Services offered by the Suppliers are uploaded here through an exhaustive Catalogue Management System built using the JSRS Category Code - UNSPSC based, These Products and Services shall be Validated on SCF ( Supplier Certification Form) of JSRS.
D. The NBF also supports bringing in multiple users from within each supplier organization for better collaboration and integration to the e-Marketplace.
E. Upon profile validation, suppliers can gain access to and network with thousands of credibility-verified companies across 95+ countries.
F. Suppliers can subscribe for open tender notifications from all sectors of the 6 GCC countries.
What is Tier 2 on JSRS?
A. The JSRS Tier 2 Consists Buyers Community, JSRS Tenders, CMS (Contractors Management system) and Jsearch.
What is Tier 3 on JSRS?
Joining the JSRS Certified Suppliers Network (JSRS-CSN) on Tier-2 allows access to Additional Certifications/Pre-Qualification options for certain Buyer Community organizations. Tier-3 enables these organization-specific certifications but is currently available only to Omani companies meeting specific criteria.
